Free advice for grassroots groups 

We give free advice on-request to indigenous communities, small NGOs, and similar bodies who share our objectives. This can range from answering specific queries to sitting on long-term advisory panels. If you think we can help, get in touch.

Consultancy

For more resourced organisations, such as larger NGOs, funders, government, and companies, we offer consultancy. In most situations (but not all) we will charge for this. We will not provide consultancy when doing so would be in opposition to our objects, and we will not advise on individual patient cases. The following are examples of topics on which we have knowledge and experience:

• integrated approaches to conservation and health
• treatment and outbreak control guidelines
• appraisal of proposed conservation or public health projects, and subsequent M&E
• medical parasitology, particularly acarine (e.g. scabies, Lyme disease)
• community health needs assessments and service establishment in remote areas
• group preparations for expeditions
• mass drug administrations for Neglected Tropical Diseases 
• protocols and training for outdoor emergency care in remote locations.
